What is OG Factions?
Team up, claim land and fight for it. A nostalgia server for the best years of the game.
Raid or be raided
Build a base, defend it, then go knock down someone else's. Everything you own is worth fighting for.
TNT and cannons
Walls are only as good as the cannon pointed at them. Bring your best designs and crack the vault.
Claim your land
Grow your faction's power, claim territory and hold it. There is a lot of map to fight over.
Diamond is king
Diamond is the best armor on the server. Fights come down to skill, pots and teamwork, not who has the better gear.
Prot V and Unbreaking V
Protection V and Unbreaking V are the only boosted enchant levels on the server. Everything else is vanilla, with no custom enchants.
The peak era, revived
Built for the nostalgia of peak Minecraft and peak factions. Allies, enemies, betrayals and base wars.
The game
How factions works
Claim land, wall it in, and break into everyone else's. This is the loop the whole server runs on.
Step one
Claim your land
Land is claimed one chunk at a time. A chunk is 16 by 16 blocks, from bedrock all the way to the sky. Every member adds power to the faction, and dying costs power. Hold more land than your power covers and enemies can take it from you.

Step two
Break their walls
Claims stop enemies from mining your blocks. They do not stop explosions. A base hides behind layers of walls with water running between them, because water cancels TNT. So raiders build cannons, stack sand against the wall so the blast goes off inside the sand, and punch through one layer at a time.
- TNT cannons
- Sand stacking
- Watered walls
- Regen walls
Step three
Crack the vault
Behind the last wall is everything the faction owns: chests, spawners and gear. Blow the vault open and take what drops. Then get out before they log on.
- Chests
- Spawners
- Diamond gear
- Golden apples
